"With its valet parking, waiters crisply donned in tuxes, well-appointed decor and gourmet Italian cuisine, Cortina Ristorante makes you want to raid your closet for your finest duds."
"Cortina is equal parts relaxed and ritzy, the staff approachable, the food refined yet earthy - and reasonably priced, to boot."
"The main dining room, seating 100, is an elegant, romantic space, luxuriously outfitted with champagne-toned wainscotting; stained-glass windows, a lavish chandelier; custom granite-topped, wraparound bar; floral tapestried chairs, and spacious velvet banquettes."
"The food: Outstanding, Cortina boasts a "chef team" with impeccable culinary credientials. It's headed by chef Franz Christerer, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, who trained at restaurants in New York and Milan. Christerer is ably assisted by chefs Bob Rold and Joseph Leonetti, both grads of the prestigious Johnson & Wales in Rhode Island. The trio excels at innovative and classic Italian dishes, prepared with a deft light touch."
"Cortina will pamper your stomach and your spirit. What more could you wish for in a restaurant?"

"The dining room, which seats about 100, is more intimate than expected from the outside. Beige and white walls are decorated with mirrors, artwork, and dried floral arrangements, which pick up the muted colors of the tapestry chairs."
"Even on a weeknight, the dining room was almost filled with well-dressed diners."
